I have created a New Zealand ocean habitat and included 3 creatures that live there one endemic one native and one introduced.

The ocean habitat contains different levels of sea plants
and species. The depth of the sea is about 2700 metres. There are plants like sea cucumber, sea weed, kelp and coral. The animals that live there is coastal fish, corals, jellyfish, crabs, crayfish, octopus, squid, plankton, seals, starfish, fish, sharks, rays, blue penguin and whales.

The endemic animal I have included is the New Zealand longfin eel. It is called the longfin eel because its top fin is longer than the bottom fin. It is black and it is larger than the shortfin eel. It eats small shortfin eels, insect larvae,  worms and water snails. When they get bigger they eat fish, crayfish and small birds like ducklings. They are a carnivore.it is about

The native animal that I have chosen is the Hector’s dolphin. The Hector’s dolphin is black, gray and white. They eat fish, squid, red cod, flatfish and yellow-eyed mallet. They live in the waters surrounding the South Island and North Island of New Zealand, most of them live around the South Island. They are a carnivore.

The introduced animal I have chosen is the great white shark. They eat sea lions, seals, sea turtles, otters and small toothed whales like belugas and dead animals. The biggest great white shark was 20ft, in meters thats 6.1 meters. They are gray and white and a bit blue. They live in the waters of New Zealand, Australia and North America. They are a carnivore.

The Hector’s dolphin, New Zealand longfin eel and the great white shark all live in the New Zealand ocean.
